Most of computer vision use cases are static camera installation especially CCTVs. However, there are many other areas required on-field use of computer vision. Such as face recognition of black listed search by security guard in public transportation, remote support for engineer when on service inside factory. Hence, it will be a lot of benefitial if we can apply computer vision on the go. And this is the emerging of DeepGlasses, the computer vision enabled AR glasses.
The DeepGlasses has two models, binocular and one-sided AR lense. The one-sided lense model is suitable for general purpose at light weight. For example, face recognition, OCR and object recognition. The binocular model is suitable for hight resolution display as well as 3D hologram visualization. For example, remote assistance for engineering, model exploration, education and entertainment.
The DeepGlasses is part of DeepEyes solution platform that all data can be synchronized between the DeepEyes web console and all werable devices. From the DeepEyes web console, user can add, amend facial image of black listed and white listed. All data between the devices and the server are synchronized in real time.
